Allah says-

 ہو الذی جعل الشمس ضیاء و القمر نورا و قدرہ منازل لتعلموا عدد السنین و الحساب ما خلق اللہ ذلک الا بالحق یفصل الایت لقوم يَّعۡلَمُوۡنَ

(Surat as-Sawad: 26)

 فَفَحَسِبۡتُمۡ َنَنََامَا خَلَقۡنَكُمۡ عَبَثًا وََّنَّكُمۡ لَِلَيۡنَا لَا تُرۡجَعُونَ 

‘Did you think that We had created you in vain and that you were to us? Won't it be brought back? ' 


Surah Al-Muminun (The Believers) Wishing good luck to Allah: With the arrival of the new year, the good and bad or good and bad of life. No relationship. The Qur'an says,

 تَتَّخِذُ مِنۡ دُونِهٖۤ ِٰلِهَۃً ِۡنۡ يُرِدۡنِ الرَّحٰمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَا تُغۡنِ عَنَِي شَفَاعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡئًا ًِنِّي ًِذًا لَّفِي ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِينۡ 

‘Shall I take others as gods instead of Him (Allah)?


Merciful if I fell into trouble If I want to, then their recommendation will not work for me and they will be able to protect me No. Doing so would lead me to open misguidance. ' (Surah: Yasin, verses 23-24)
